House Submits Final Draft of Job Creation Law to State Secretariat

House Secretary General Indra Islandar has submitted the final draft of the Job Creation Law to the State Secretariat Ministry Office at the Presidential Palace complex on Wednesday (14/10/2020). Deputy Assistant for Economic Affairs of the Ministry’s Deputy for Law and Legislation, Lydia Silvanna Djaman, received the draft.
“We have handed over the final draft, as the Leaders of the House ordered us to do, to the State Secretariat,” said Iskandar at the State Secretariat Ministry Office. “The draft was received by officials from the Deputy for Law and Legislation.”
Iskandar further stated, in principle, there were no substantive or technical problems found in the Job Creation Law. He commented on the matter after submitting the final draft of the Job Creation Law to President Joko Widodo through the Ministry of State Secretariat. The Ministry’s Deputy for Law and Legislation represented the minister in accepting the draft. The submitted document was in accordance with the statement made by the House Leaders in a press conference, which contained 812 pages.
Before heading to the Ministry, Iskandar held a press conference at the Indonesian House compound. “I am going to the State Secretariat this afternoon to hand over the Job Creation Law draft. The draft consists of 812 pages, the same as the one announced by the House leaders in a press conference on Tuesday (10/13/20), and there were no substantial changes to it,” he affirmed. (pun/sf)
